Nova eats vegan because I became a vegan myself 3 years ago. It didn't feel right after that to give meat. Nova has also had a congenital skin defect since she was 1,5 years old. 

We wanted to try and see if vegan food would help with her skin condition. First we switched to chunks, after which we could already abandon antibiotics. It was better, but not gone. For two months she has been eating self-composed food with Vegdog all inclusive velux en Vegeyeast. I now cook the 'complete basic meal' from the book Dog.Eat.Plant for her. Since then, her hair has become much thicker and has less flakes. She also no longer needs to be washed every week with a special shampoo.

Nova was always just a bit too heavy with chunks (also with the vegan chunks). With the fresh food she has a much nicer weight.

When Nova got meat she was a very picky eater, now she rarely leaves anything out. She eats even whole pieces of vegetables or legumes.” – Larisa
