“I have been vegan myself since 2019. I made this choice very consciously for animal welfare and the environment. When I adopted Millie in 2022, at 10 months old, it was only natural for me to feed her vegan as well. The transition was very easy: Millie turned out not to be a picky eater!

Millie comes from Bulgaria, where she was found as a puppy on the street. She spent the first few months of her life in a foster home in Bulgaria before being brought to the Netherlands, where I adopted her through a shelter. When she placed her little head on my lap during our first meeting, I knew immediately: we would be inseparable. And indeed, that proved to be true!

Millie has tried many different types of kibble and wet food. She even has her own tasting box 😉. She basically likes everything. At the moment, Millie eats Omni kibble and HenArt wet food. This is a great combination for her. As for snacks, Millie is completely crazy about Garden Bites. She would do anything for them.

A fun fact about Millie: she LOVES loose sand. When she encounters it during walks, she immediately goes wild. Then we play together extensively.” — Marlijn Kampjes
