Behavioral therapy for dogs

As a behavioral therapist I help solve behavioral problems in your dog with the help of a practical and solution-oriented process. Gain insight into your dog's behavior and receive a plan of action that you can put to work yourself. A first consultation takes 1,5 hours and depending on the problem there is the possibility for a follow-up consultation.

What behavioral problems can I help you with?

In addition to experience with dogs from abroad / shelter and the associated problems, I can help you with problems such as:

• fear / aggression towards / towards people
• fear / aggression towards / towards dogs
• not being able to be at home alone
• defending the objects, food bowl, berth and / or owner
• uncleanliness
• chasing joggers, cyclists, animals, etc.
• Other problems (hyperactivity, excessive barking, demolition, eating poo, etc.)

Approach

In order to be able to draw up the right treatment plan, an extensive preliminary process and a home visit are required. That way I can make the correct diagnosis. Based on that, I can determine the therapy method and draw up a treatment plan. The trajectory then looks like this:

• You fill in a questionnaire in preparation. The questionnaire is sent by e-mail and can also be returned by e-mail.
• Then follows the consultation of 1,5 hours at home and the questionnaire is gone through and additional questions are asked. Diagnosis, treatment plan and prognosis are also discussed during this conversation.
• Possibly a follow-up consultation.
• Possibility of telephone support and aftercare for 2 months after the consultation.

Costs

The costs of a behavioral therapy trajectory, including report and aftercare, depend on the type of consultation:

• € 150,00 for a behavioral consultation (1,5 hours)
• € 100,00 for a follow-up consultation (1 hour)
• Travel costs: no costs within a radius of 10 km from Maarn. Beyond that €0,60 per km (for the number of kms see route network from 3951XL to your address).

The amounts include VAT.
