The Safety Harness is a Y-shaped dog harness with an anti-escape function. It effortlessly combines the look and feel of the Comfort Harness with the safety of an anti-escape harness. The extra strap around the waist makes it impossible for your dog to escape from the harness if he gets startled and pulls back. It also stays in place extra well. This makes it ideal for dogs with 3 legs. The inside is lined with a soft, breathable fabric. The straps are made of strong and durable polyester.

The Safety Harness has the ideal fit at the chest, shoulders and under the armpits. It does not press anywhere on your dog's joints and the abdominal strap is far enough from the armpits so that no friction or irritation occurs here. This gives your dog all the freedom of movement and comfort to walk, run and play.

Choose the right size for your dog (see measuring instructions in images) 

1. Measure the chest circumference at the right place: This is approximately 11cm further on the back from the shoulder blades. See photos to get a good idea.
2. Measure the length from the neck (at the level of the sternum) over the abdomen to behind the last ribs. This way you know how long the waist belt needs to be so that the extra strap around the waist is in the right place (this is behind the ribs where the waist becomes narrower and for males just in front of the penis) for the anti-escape function.
3. Then check which size harness best suits your dog in our size chart.
4. If your dog falls between 2 sizes, the smallest size is usually recommended, especially for males.
