“Personally, I’ve been vegan for years, and I no longer wanted to contribute to animal suffering through my pets either. I’m a researcher myself, so I did thorough research first. It turned out that it’s absolutely possible for cats to thrive on a vegan diet. Our other cat(s) have also been eating vegan food for years and are doing amazing!

Benji is a bit of a special case though. After his neutering, he never fully recovered. The symptoms were very clear: HCM — a progressive heart condition. The prognosis was very severe, and with a bit of luck, he would have had at most one year left to live. But with twice-daily medication and the vegan food, he’s still doing great more than three years later!
