Sustainability is incredibly important to us and is therefore a major part of VegaVriend. We are happy to share more about our vision on this and how we put it into practice!
VegaVriend wants the best for everyone: animals, people, and the planet 🌍
And by working as sustainably as possible, we hope to contribute to a livable world. For everyone!
How do we do that?
🌱 All our products are 100% vegan. 🌱 Every product we sell is sustainable in some way—for example, they are organic or made from recycled/biodegradable materials. 🌱 Our stock is stored in a well-insulated building with solar panels on the roof and LED lighting. 🌱 Our packing slips are printed on recycled paper. 🌱 We reuse our packaging materials, and all new boxes are made from recycled cardboard. 🌱 We use paper tape instead of plastic. 🌱 We don’t operate from an office but work mainly from home. Remote work is sustainable as it reduces CO2 emissions, saves energy, minimizes waste production, and improves work-life balance!

Plant-based food is much more sustainable than meat-based food. So, by switching your dog or cat to plant-based nutrition, you’re already doing a great job! ♻️ Not only food, but other products can also be sustainable. Think of dog and cat toys, poop bags, cat litter, and various grooming products. 🌳 Combat overconsumption and buy consciously! With a little creativity, you can go a long way. Need inspiration?
