Each roll of bags has a recycled cardboard core and fits in almost all standard poop bag holders. The Beco compostable poop bags are made from corn starch, a vegetable material, and PBAT. When discarded in a properly managed compost pile, the bags will completely break down into the natural elements with which they once started their starchy life, without leaving any traces.

Beco Bags compostable poop bags may be added to a compost heap, provided that the resulting compost is not used in a vegetable garden, herb beds or on fruit trees intended for consumption. If the dog is treated with medication, dewormers or flea control products, the feces should absolutely not be deposited on the compost heap. If there is no compost heap, the poop bags may be thrown in the special dog poop bin or with the normal residual waste, but never in the organic waste bin.
