The Beco certified compostable poop bags are extra large and thick. They protect your hands and are suitable for large waste of any size. Each roll of bags has a recycled cardboard core and fits in almost all standard poop bag dispensers. The best place to dispose of these bags is in a well-maintained home compost heap, for non-edible plants only.

The Beco compostable poop bags are made from cornstarch, a plant-based material, and PBAT. When disposed of on a well-managed compost heap, the bags will break down completely into the natural elements from which they started, leaving no trace.
Composting
Beco Bags compostable poop bags can be added to a compost heap, provided the resulting compost is not used in a vegetable garden, herb beds, or near fruit trees intended for consumption. If the dog is being treated with medication, deworming, or flea treatments, the waste should never be composted. If no compost heap is available, the poop bags can be disposed of in special dog waste bins or with regular household waste, but never in the green waste bin.
