"Hello! I am Robin, Robin Scheper Woerden-Van Soest. Hehehe. My human friends enjoyed giving me whatever names they thought were appropriate. I am a Malinois lady, now 13 years old. Born close to Rotterdam at the age of 6e little afterthought, in the car on the way home from the vet where my other 5 brothers and sisters were born. Grew up on a ship in the Oosterdok of Amsterdam. I then traveled the world, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, even South Africa. Where my human friend goes, I go. We are always and everywhere together, out together, home together, day in and day out. We really are the best friends ever.
As a puppy I was raised on a raw diet – my human friends all wanted it as natural as possible for me. One of them had been a vegetarian since he was 16e but together they came up with the idea that I would eat animals in the wild so that that would also be okay and best for my health. However, over the years it became clearer and clearer how terribly horrible horribly painful and disastrous the meat industry and all industries (dairy, clothing, cosmetics, entertainment, sports, transport) that involve animals are so 6 years ago my a human friend to live a completely vegan lifestyle.
The idea that so many other animals have to suffer terribly throughout their lives, from birth to the end, made him decide to go completely vegan for me too. And I love it!
