”Anton is a one and a half year old rough-haired dachshund. He suffered a lot in the search for the right food, and vegan food helped him to improve his life considerably.

Anton suffered a lot from wounds and rashes due to food allergies. After every meal he started biting himself, causing pain and itching. Every night all I saw was him chewing his tail, scratching himself and wheezing in pain. We made numerous visits to the vet, but unfortunately they couldn't really help us. It was only after careful observation that we realized that Anton exhibited this behavior once he ate animal protein.

After more than half a year of research and experimentation, we have determined that Anton is indeed allergic to animal proteins. We switched him to a plant-based diet and it really made a world of difference. Finding vegetable chunks wasn't too difficult, but it turned out to be quite a challenge to find suitable snacks, because to top it off, Anton is also sensitive to grain, wheat and gluten. Fortunately, we came across Vega Friend with plenty of choice in snacks and that really changed Anton's life. He now enjoys delicious treats without us having to worry about allergic reactions.
